Kaempferia galanga
This small ginger has a peppery camphorous taste. Its frequently use for Balinese and Javanese cuisine like for fried rice, condiment, clear soup, and also herbal drink with rice grain. Kencur is the most common name but Balinese tend to name it Cekuh.
It also being intensively use as liniment to treat rheumatism, natural remedy syrup for cough, works as expectorant and works well to repel dengue mosquito!
