Trendy garnish thats traditionally used in Chinese cuisine. Especially the tender and immature leaf and stems which are edible with a sweet nutty flavor. They are used in Sichuan cuisine and usually stir fried with garlic called Dou Miao. They are a good source of beta carotene, vitamin c, and of course fibre. Nowadays they are popular among western chefs and have become versatile in uses from salad to pasta.  This green is mainly paired with crabs and other shellfish, it works just great.
