
Description
More well known as Tangor (Tangerine Orange), temple orange or Siamese Orange. Its a natural hybrid between Tangerine (Citrus reticulata) and Sweet Orange (Citrus sinensis) originated from Indochina around Vietnam to Thailand and popular here in Indonesia as Jeruk Siam (syn. Citrus nobilis). Its thick rind is easy to peel and its bright orange pulp is sour-sweet and full-flavoured.
